Home Day Spa...

Home Day Spa...

Hello all my beautiful Pearlie B's Fashionistas! It's a great day in the world of fashion and make up. Today's topic is Pampering Yourself At Home.

There's nothing like spending a day at the spa and being pampered the way every diva truly deserves. But during these turbulent economic times who really has the money to splurge on a day at the spa?! If you're a diva on a budget, like me, you will appreciate this article. Having a spa day doesn't mean you have to spend an arm and a leg, especially when you can bring the spa to your home. Listed below are some easy ways to bring the spa to your home and not break the bank.

1. A good face and body exfoliation is an excellent way to jump start your ritual. Stop by your local CVS or Walgreens to see what's available and head home to get started.

2. Once you have exfoliated your face and body, follow up by using a face mask. Depending on how your skin is feeling, use a calming or moisturizing mask. Like the exfoliator, you can find a great face mask at your local CVS or Walgreens.

3. For hair, it's smart to start with a great wash and scalp massage, followed by a hair mask or deep conditioner which can be left on hair for about 20 minutes. My personal favorite shampoo and conditioner combination is Pantene Relaxed and Natural or any KeraCare products.

4. A good body moisturizer is essential to your home spa day experience. Since summer is here and in full effect, it is very necessary to make sure your skin is very moisturized. After all, nobody likes a girl with rough, dry skin.

5. Hands and feet are the final stop of your home spa day experience. Besides filing and painting your nails, hydrating your cuticles is very important. After hydrating the cuticles on your hands and feet, polish your toes and nails in one of the many hot colors of the season.
6. To complete your home spa day experience, treat yourself to some fresh fruit, and wine or a cocktail, and relax and enjoy being a DIVA!

Ciao!
