Tis The Season: Stainless Steel Ice Cubes, Anyone?

Hey Lovies! It tis the season the season to be jolly, but you really can't be too jolly when ice cubes keep watering down your holiday adult beverage, right?! RIGHT?! Melting ice cubes are probably one of my major peeves and probably the main reason why I ask for little to no ice in ANY beverage I'm sipping.

If you're like me and don't enjoy the watered down taste of ANY drink, you'll definitely enjoy stainless steel ice cubes. This AWESOME gift is available to YOU from our friends at Kegworks. For $25.00 you can get four ice cubes and a cute little tray to store them in when they are not in use.

This is a GREAT gift without breaking the bank! I told you guys before, I recommend great gifts that do NOT break the bank!

Enjoy, lovies and see ya at the TOP!

Holiday Chic Look #1: Cocktail Party Attire

Okay lovies, so we made it through Thanksgiving...now it's time to prepare for my favorite styling season of the year, Holiday Party Season! In honor of the holiday season I will be sharing one fun look per day to get you ready for your company party or your friend's fabulous holiday shindig!

The first look we'll feature is Cocktail Party Attire. Cocktail parties are a blast and by far my most favorite type of party to attend whether it's during the holiday season or not. Holiday parties are a great opportunity for movers and shakers to network, have a good time and show off their personal style in a fun and light hearted environment.

If you're headed to a cocktail party, you can't go wrong by choosing a playful dress to show off your unique personality. When choosing a dress to wear for a cocktail party, it's best to choose a dress with fun details and embellishments such as sequins, lace, feathers, rhinestones or fringe. Rocking any of those embellishments in a mini, strapless or one shoulder dress is also another great way to go.

All of the aforementioned styles are not only chic, they're tons of fun and absolutely FABULOUS!
Enjoy this style tip and if you decide to give any of these tips a whirl, send me a pic at boujebeauty@gmail.com and I'll feature you on the blog!

Enjoy and see ya at the top, lovies!

Chic and Easy Way To Store Make-Up Brushes

I'm a total make-up junkie and as a make-up junkie that means I have a lot of brushes. As a person with a lot of brushes that means I don't have a lot of space to display them...well, that was until I was perusing the web and found this cool little site, Pinterest. Pinterest is a virtual pinboard where people can go in and post things that they have created or found on the web. The site isn't just for the artsy craftsy people; it's for people who like to cook, people who like art, people who need help organizing or even just a little personal inspiration...basically, it's just a site for EVERYONE! Check it out when you get a chance, I know I was glad! After all, that's how I found this FABULOUS way to display my make-up brushes!

Enjoy and see you at the TOP, lovies!

1, 2, 3, 4...Round Toe Pumps OUT The Door...

1, 2, 3, 4…Round toe pumps OUT the door. There’s a new shoe in town…The pointy toe pump is back and back with a vengeance. I can remember when I got my FIRST pair of Italian leather pointy toe pumps like it was yesterday. I was supposed to be going to get my sorority line jacket (I had just crossed into the most FABULOUS sorority and chapter in all the land, The Gorgeous Gamma Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Innnnnccccorporated at THE Texas Southern University…whew! Flashback!), but I happened to pass by the shoe store and saw the most beautifullest (yeah, I know that’s not a word) Italian leather pumps (talk about SHOEgasm)! I LOVED these shoes with every fiber of my being and that’s why it’s no surprise that I’m loving the fierce come back. Sooooo…HOLLA at me round toe and HELLLLOOOOO pointy toe…Ohhh how I’ve missed you!

Adam Lambert channeling a little Houdini...ummm...okay?!

Katy Perry, I head about your Vivienne Westwood ensembe on Twitter and honestly,
you don't look as bad as everyone was saying.

Okay Ms. Patridge...cute dress, wrong occasion...at least that's what I think...

Biebs, ever since that girl accused you of being her baby daddy you changed and I don't like it!
Please stick to one do and stop trying to be...well...who exactly are you trying to be?!

Chaka Khan...no comment...

Heidi, I'm having mixed feelings about this Giles Deacon sheath...
I mean, I like it, but it may be a little too busy for me...

Is that Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Kidman or a Stepford Wife...I can't tell, but I kinda like it

Not really a fan of the skinny JHud, but I like her in this Jenny Pack dress and
she looks shockingly healthy and not ashy like she has been lately.
Go on JHud! Refreshed and renewed...I can dig it!

Had to get a close up of JHud's kicks...LOVE EM!

Okay, Ms. Lopez...we know you got rid of that skeleton from the movie
The Nightmare Before Christmas a.k.a Marc Anthony, but did you really
have to add insult to injury by wearing this smokin hot Zuhair Murad gown?
LOVES IT!

Luda, Luda, Luda...I like, I Like, I LIKE everything but the sideburns!

Very nice Matthew Morrison

Oh MJB, I see you channeling your inner guidette...

Old Hollywood on a YOUNG actress...
Selena Gomez attempted to channel Old Hollywood with
the down to there plunging neckline and the up to there slit...
I'm not loving it...stick to what you know, Selena...fun, funky and youthful!

The SNITCH-utation Situation is definitely a miss with the fit
and the hair cut, but the one thing I will say I like is the bold pink!

T. Swift, as classic as always...Totally loving the Reem Acra gown and the barely
there fishbone braid...very cute!

Vanessa Minnillo, Girl's Nite Out or the AMAs?
Cute dress, wrong venue...do better.

Ooooooookkkkayyyyy, Wayne Brady.
You-looka-like a-Messa...#thatisall

The Muppets Take OPI...

When I saw the Muppets in the November issue of Cosmo magazine I was completely DONE! I mean come on, the Muppets in a magazine that boasts knowing guys' top sex secrets, things you don't know about your period but need to know, and ways to get him UP? Really?! Okay?! But as I looked at the ad more closely I totally forgot about the inappropriateness of the worlds children's puppets and sex talk colliding and began to get HYPE about the colors.

This collection has some appropriately named, fantastic, and vibrant colors. I mean, it doesn't get any better than wearing a color called Gettin Miss Piggy With It or the Fresh Frog of Bel Air. The collection is out and available in stores...snazz up your nails this holiday season with shades from the Muppet Collection!

Enjoy and see you at the top, lovies!

Hello Vino...Bye Bye Sunburn...

I know the summer months are long gone and the chances of getting sunburn are pretty slim unless you live on a tropical island or you plan on snowbirding for the winter months and visiting a tropical island soon. Regardless of the season, the tip I'm about to share is unbelievable, pleasurable if you enjoy a glass of fine wine, and down right crazy if you ask me; but they say it works!

In Barcelona, recent in vitro studies suggest special antioxidants in wine grapes protect the skin from UV induced burns. Indulging in a glass of vino from time to time is NOT a replacement for good ol sunscreen, but it may definitely be able to assist in the creation of better sunscreens. If using wine to create better sunscreens doesn't work, you could always just down a glass or two for the fun of it and you won't even feel your sunburn! *Just kidding, lovies...we do not endorse binge drinking at Pearlie's Fashion Passion!*

Drink up, enjoy and see ya at the TOP, lovies!

Move Over G-Shock, There's A New Watch In Town...

I've been a watch lover eversince I got a job at the now defunct Watch Station. I like all watches; cheap, expensive, and anything in between. I just love watches. Often times, I will skip bangles just so I can showcase a FABULOUS watch. I've had all kinds of watches...Fossil, Timex, Casio, Chanel...you name it, I've probably had it. As of late, I've reverted back to one of my favorite brands, Technomarine. I LOVE Technomarine because it can be a casual watch, an athletic watch or you can even dress it up.

If you've never seen or heard of Technomarine, run to your local department store to find out if the brand is available and try one on. I promise, you'll probably love the brand just as much as I do!

Enjoy and see you at the top, Lovies!

Rihanna: New Face Of Armani Jeans

Rihanna, one of our favorite style chameleons is back at it again. She's not only the new face of Armani Jeans, she's also got a hand in the designing. This Good Girl Gone Bad is working right along Mr. Armani himself. Expect the collection to have a very edgy look; think rips, tears, chains, zippers and bandanas. The pieces can be found at your local Macy's or on www.macys.com.

Enjoy and see you at the TOP, lovies! xoxo

Fashion's New IT Kids...

Suri, Kingston, Nahla, and Honor are just a few of Hollywood's IT kids when it comes to fashion. They've graced the covers of some of our favorite magazines in the most amazing little duds for tots. Due to their individually unique styles, these little crumbsnatchers ( I am using that phrase in the most kind way as possible...LOL) have inspired some of fashion's hautest designers such as Lanvin, Fendi, Gucci, and Versace just to name a few to create high-end threads for tots. Pint-sized pieces from these AMAZING fashion houses are available to tots all across the world. Don't get it twisted though; the pieces may be small, but the price tag is still pretty hefty. If you've got the cash to dole out on these fabulous threads, go on and hook your tot or someone else's with these cute little items.

I don't have any kids, but I'm not sure if I'd spend the dough on designer threads for my little one; after all they're just going to get it dirty or grow out of it after one wear. However, I will admit I did purchase my niece Ava a Dolce and Gabbana hat to wear home from the hospital when she was born and on her second birthday she received a cute little Coach bag that I'm certain cannot be found ANYWHERE!

Enjoy and see you at the TOP, lovies!

HAUTE Reading Anyone?

The Gucci Museum (yes, Gucci is so FABULOUS there's a museum) recently opened in Florence, Italy. After the opening of a museum, the next best thing that could happen to any design house would be to publish a book that commemorates Gucci's impact on the world of fashion. "Gucci: The Making Of" celebrates the design house's 90 years of excellence in fashion. It's more than a picture book, so if you're a self proclaimed fashionista like myself, it may behoove you to scoop up this great book. Most likely, you'll be able to find it at your local Barnes and Noble or on Amazon.com. The price is a little hefty, think college text book price; however the $85.00 you spend to get the book is a heck of a lot cheaper than getting that new Gucci handbag!

Enjoy and see you at the TOP, lovies!

Put A Little Salt Up In It...

Okay, Lovies...you guys know I LOVE salt just as much as the next person, maybe a little too much. I can't help it, it's in my genes...my mama loves salt, her daddy loved salt, her siblings love salt, so it's ONLY natural that I love salt too. BUT this time I'm not talking about adding salt to your food, I'm talking about adding salt to your beauty regimen! I know y'all are looking at this post and thinking to yourself, 'What has this crazy girl come up with now?!' To answer your question, if it was a question, I will say I'm not crazy and all the ways you can use Epsom salt in your beauty regimen are absolutely fantastic. Epsom salt can be used for more than nursing old sports injuries (YES! I played sports in high school and college...don't let the girly girl look, the make-up, the four inch heels and the barely there skirts fool you...I will post you up under the basket in a heart beat...LOL!).

Take a look at some of the AWESOME ways Epsom Salt can be added to your beauty regimen.

See you at the TOP, lovies!

Ciao!

Use Numero Uno: Body Scrub

Just add a spoonful of crused salts to your favorite body wash and create your own body exfoliator.

Use Numero Dos: Beach Hair

I know it's winter, but sometimes the winter weather gets you down. When the winter weather gets you down use a little Epsom salt and create beach hair. To make this mixture take a spoonful of salts, a few drops of olive oil, and 1/4 cup of water. Pour it into a spray bottle and spritz away.

Megan Fox and AMAZING beach hair

Use Numero Tres: Bruise Fader

Had a rough drunken night out? Hurt yourself in the gym? Just have random bruises that come out of nowhere? Never fear, Epsom salt is here! Add two cups of salt into your bath and soak. The minerals in the salt make dark marks fade faster.

I'd LOVE to soak in this luxurious bathtub
Calgon, take me away!
