Hey Lovies! I'm on a posting roll today...I guess I'm making up for lost time. Or it could be that I have nothing to do since I made the executive decision to do nothing for at least half of the day.
In my effort to do nothing today, I have managed to do something. I've managed to find cool fashion finds on the web and share them with you. My latest find is compliments of one of my favorite blog sites, Style Pantry. As I was perusing the site, I came across a fabulous pair of shoes by Project Runway alum, Christian Siriano. These shoes are fab and just in time for the holiday season.

While she may be one of the richest people in the world, she knows how to keep it REAL and comfortable while shopping.
Shortly after appearing on GMA, Ms. Winfrey hit the NYC streets to get in a little shopping. I'm a fan of comfortable shopping, but Ms. Winfrey has taken it to another level and I LOVE IT! Ms. Winfrey was spotted wearing green, frog-like slippers all up and through New York designer boutiques. Ms. Winfrey also wore the slippers along with GMA anchors to show support for the fabulous fighter otherwise known as Robin Roberts.
Now lovies, I will say just because Ms. Winfrey wore slippers while shopping it doesn't mean you can. She is OPRAH...we're just FABULOUS people who happen to love fashion and haven't gotten to her level. BUTTTTTT trust and believe when I get there, I'm bustin out my house shoes with the quickness!

Hey Lovies! The 2012 Presidential Election Day is quickly approaching and lovies, if you didn't know I will be the FIRST to tell the race is T-I-G-H-T! Before I get into the fashion portion of the post, I want to take a minute to get on my political soapbox. No, I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, but what I will tell you is ALL of you need to get your five inch stiletto, ankle bootie, ballerina flat wearin, mini skirt, skinny jeans, leggings, jeggings, jumpsuit rockin, over accessorized @$$es to the polls! There are some serious issues on the table that affect not just us as individuals, but the entire country. Get up, get out, vote, and let your voice be heard. Treat this election like a Black Friday sale at your favorite store, I guaran-DAMN-tee none of y'all are going to miss those great sales...LOL! But seriously lovies, get out there and vote...doesn't matter who you vote for, JUST DO IT...let your voice be heard. If you don't vote, I don't want to hear about you complaining...you had your chance. Okay, I'm done...*steps off soapbox*
Now to fashion...I tried to have a balanced number of photos for each candidate, but I had a hard time finding photos for Governor Romney. So for those of you that are supporting Governor Romney do not think I'm hatin'...there just weren't a lot of photos. Either way, take a look at the accessory pieces that are available for supporters to rock!
I don't own any accessory pieces for my candidate, but what I will say is the pieces for BOTH candidates are quite interesting. I LOVE seeing tasteful 'political art'.

Ok, ok, I am putting myself on the worst dress list for this outfit! I wanted a little color while I’m living in Miami, so my intentions were good, but the cut isn’t for me! You definitely need to be taller and thinner to pull this jacket style off! Fashion is all about experimenting to try and find your style and you have some hits and misses along the way. The mirror was lying to me this day! Where were my sisters or my boyfriend when I needed a good opinion?! LOL

Hey Lovies! I'm not sure if the FLOTUS and aspiring FLOTUS planned to wear 'matching' outfits to the debate on Tuesday night, but it sure looked that way. I'm not sure what designer either lady was wearing, but I think it's fair to say they both looked equally as nice in their pink, or shall I say, Schiaparelli Pink ensembles.
I liked both ladies style for the evening. Michelle is ALWAYS so daring with her fashion choices, so naturally she felt at home in this bright hue. I really like how she kept it simple and that hair was TO.DIE.FOR! Anne, really stepped it up this go 'round. I really liked the 'pink' and the chunky greenish necklace. I think I was partial to Anne's color combo because she was repping MY colors, PINK and GREEN (Skeeeeeeee-Weeeeeeeee)! So lovies, the Question of The Day (QOTD) is...who wore their outfit best? Michelle or Anne?

Every year there's an IT color in the wonderful world of fashion. I've heard about so many IT colors for this season, I'm over it. I made an executive decision for myself (because I'm the BOSS) that I'd wear whatever the hell color I want this season, despite the fact it may or may not be the IT color of the season. SN: I'm a little concerned about this little clear area...foot sweat, GROSS! The little plastic part is also reminiscent of those awful Melissa shoes people used to wear back in the gap that would fog up once your feet started sweating.

So with that being said, it is time for us to check out Olivia Munn in this AWESOME K-Mart dress by Attention. This dress cost less than $18.00?! (Close your mouth...yes, I said a whopping $18.00...LOL) Yes, people it is possible to look GREAT for less...I'm a pretty regular K-Mart shopper, so I wasn't shocked that the dress was 1. Cute and 2. Cheap...after all, K-Mart and Sears are cousins, so I knew the price for this dress was going to be low and the look was going to be cute.
If I've told y'all before, 'Don't sleep on the blue light special!' One day y'all are gonna learn and you're going to be able to rock out awesome looks for minimal price!

Hey Lovies! It's Throwback Thursday, AGAIN! I'm kinda starting to like these Thursday posts, because I'm finding so many cool things. This week's Throwback Thursday is dedicated to Blue Magic hair grease. Yup, I said it, BLUE MAGIC! Blue Magic was the 'glue' that held every little black girls hair together for at least one week. I remember my mom combing my hair on Sundays and telling me that this do better last me through at least Wednesday, do not let anyone touch my hair and I better not get sand in my hair from the playground or else I was gonna get a whoopin! I hated getting my hair combed, but the end product always made me happy! I guess I've always been a glamour puss! :)
