Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M...

Welp Lovies, my favorite hometown girl has done it again. It is official and confirmed, Beyonce Gisele Knowles Carter, has partnered with H&M for the Swedish company's summer collection.The collection will feature styles inspired by the Queen's individual style and a brand representative informed the public that the songstress added her personal input to many of the pieces seen in the collection.

Mrs. Carter is really doing her thang and showing that EVERYTHING that's from TEXAS is BETTER! Man, I LOVE my state, my hometown girl...whew! I'm excited...y'all should be too!

The Mrs. Carter Pre-Game Show...

Before I get into this post, I have to offer a little disclaimer. Blogger has been giving me the blues when it comes to uploading pictures. I've been trying to upload the photos for this post for what seems like a million and one years. It was orginally set to post on 02/13/13, but it didn't quite work out. Honestly, the plan still didn't work out because I was unable to get ALL of the photos from the spread loaded, but we'll just be thankful for what I was able to load, right? RIGHT! :) Anyway, y'all better enjoy this post...it took me FOREVER to get it together...LBVS! (Laughing But VERY Serious)

Hey Lovies!

I don't know if y'all keep up with Beyonce a.k.a. Mrs. Carter the way I do so I thought I'd share her latest activities. First, she did the spread for GQ (it was a little racy and according to my mama, who's also a Beyonce fan, 'It was in poor taste because she is somebody's mama now.'), then she shut down the Super Bowl (literally), then she announced the Mrs. Carter Tour coming to a city near you, this Saturday she'll be showing a more intimate side of herself with her self-produced documentary, Life Is But A Dream and then I just found out she will be on the March cover of Vogue looking as fabulous as ever (I think my mama will approve of this cover more than she did the GQ cover).

Anyway, take a peek at the eight page spread of Mrs. Carter that will be featured in Vogue this month.

House of Dereon Fall 2012 Collection...

Hey Lovies! Blue Ivy's mama has done it again and is letting us know she was here last year and here again  in 2012. Beyonce and her mother, Mrs. Tina, will be releasing the House of Dereon 2012 Fall Collection REALLY soon and it can only be described in TWO words: Fierce.Hunty. *snaps fingers and flips hair* This new collection from the mother/daughter fashion duo is absolutely amazing and totally out of the box for these fashionistas. Think diva fashionista meets hipster meets biker chick. Mrs. Carter is still keeping it sexy this season with curve hugging dresses, bootylicious bottoms and such, but she's thrown in biker boots and some other punk-y accessories to give it just the right amount of edge. I don't know about y'all, but I'm damn excited about this collection, Beyonce's new album (she's been in the lab with Ye and Hit Man...SN: Y'all think she allows Kim K. to come to sessions???? None of my business, but I just wondering...), and of course seeing more pics of Miss Blue Ivy. I'm excited y'all...I love it when Texas girls do BIG things! #HTownStandUp

Khloe Kares...

She's at it again, my favorite Kardashian is doing something for the kids of Dallas. It's quite obvious that Khloe Luv Da Kids (have you seen the way she interacts with that cute as a button nephew of hers, Mason and how about how she loves on little sisters, Kendall and Kylie?!), but she's really showing it today by hosting a great event at the City Hall Plaza in her new home away from home, Dallas, Texas today, Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 12 to 2 p.m.

Khloe has told her fans she's more than  happy to "sign autographs, take photos, whatever you dolls want, as long as you have an unwrapped (still in packaging though) toy for children of all ages (especially stuff for teens) to donate!" For health purposes, stuffed animals or anything unpackaged (with the exception of books) will not be accepted.


If you're not sure what to bring for the little cuties, Khloe has been quoted suggesting the following: "I've found that fun card games and things the children can play with in bed always make the best presents. Monopoly Deal, Scrabble Slam Cards, SORRY! Revenge Card Game, Yahtzee Hands Down Card Game, etc. Target or Walmart are both great places to find games like these!"

If you're in the Dallas area and you want to catch a glimpse of the FABULOUS and BEAUTIFUL Khloe Kardashian-Odom, stop by the City Hall Plaza and drop off a toy for a good cause.

Howdy KhloMar...

Hey Lovies!

It's official, my absolute favorite Kardashian, Khloe and her hubby, Lamar Odom, are moving to the Lone Star State. The big move was brought about after Lamar was traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks (booooo...I'm a Houston Rockets fan all day, baby)!

Although I don't live in Texas anymore, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my state and I'm glad one of my favorite celebs will be making it her home away from home.

Khloe, you and Lamar are my friends in my head so I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm excited that y'all are moving to Texas and feel free to call yourself a Texan if you'd like...we're excited to have both of you.

Fashion and Art Meet In The Lone Star State...

Step into the world of Jean Paul Gaultier, one of the world's most renowned fashion designers, in the greatest state this side of Heaven, TEXAS of couse! The Dallas Museum of Art will be debuting "The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From The Sidewealk to the Catwalk." This exhibit will feature 140 pieces from the designer's personal collection. If you're in the Dallas area or LOVE fashion like and I do, plan a field trip and get to the museum to see this exhibit. I haven't seen it, but I'm guessing it's going to be HOTTER than Madonna in a pointy bra, y'all!

The exhibit starts November 13th, 2011 and goes well into the New Year, ending February 12, 2012.
