Dear H&M, Thank You...

For as long as I can remember I've had a distant love affair with H&M. As a teen I would flip through the pages of some of my favorite fashion magazines and see H&M in the credits. What in the world was H&M I'd ask myself...I could never figure it out, nor could I find a store close by my home in The Woodlands, TX. H&M, only available in Europe, NY, Chicago...I was doomed. So when I finally got the opportunity to visit an H&M in Chicago some years ago, I was in Hog Heaven. Fashion to the left, fashion to the right, fashion upstairs, downstairs, EVERYWHERE and to make it even better...it was so affordable. As I've mentioned in previous blogs, I've been EVERY size under the sun and thankfully H&M has always had something to fit my sometimes athletic frame and my sometimes pleasantly plump frame, and I will be forever grateful. BUT today, lovies, TODAY...my friends at H&M put a smile on my face...I was perusing the web and I discovered H&M now has a CURVY COLLECTION. Yes m'ams, I said a CURVY COLLECTION. H&M has dabbled in the plus size world a time or two, but this time they are doing it right and I must say I am ECSTATIC (actually that's an understatement, but whatever). So yeah, check out some the images of what's in store for us curvy chicks, oh and you skinny girls, you can check it out too...it's all L-O-V-E!

Power Brows...

Hey Lovies! It's been a while...as usual I've been burning the candle at both ends...between work, life and everything in between I've really been neglecting the blog. I know I made a promise to myself in 2012 that I'd do much better, but clearly I'm failing. I'm going to try to get back on task and get at least one or two posts out per day. That's going to require some serious planning on my behalf, but I'm up for the challenge.

Anywhoo, in my absence from the blog I've been doing some serious virtual garage selling and I must say the customers are quite happy. I've had customers on the East Coast (Hey Aunt Jean!), customers down South (Hey Nina!), and local customers (Hey Andrea, Conni, Rikita, and Angela!). I've also been doing some serious thrifting and I can't wait to show you guys all of my GREAT finds and I can't wait to finish my eBook (I'll share the details later). All in all, it's been a great couple of weeks, but I MUST get back to this blog business.

So as most of you know, I LOVE make-up and thing I like to focus on the most is the brows. Brows are EVERYTHING to me. If your brows ain't right, then nothing else is going to look right. Cleaning Out My Accessories Closet...

Cleaning Out My Closet...

Hey Lovies!

After careful observation of my closet, I have decided that I have too many clothes, too many shoes, too many dresses, too cardigans, too many belts, hats, clutches...basically I have too much of EVERYTHING. In an effort to free up space in my closet, I'm having a 'garage sale'...kinda. I live in a townhome community and it's kinda hard to have a garage sale. Since I can't have a 'garage sale' out of my carport, I decided to have a sale the next best way...on my blog, Craigslist, and Ebay. Over the next few days, I'll be posting pics of brand-new or gently worn clothing items, clutches, handbags, shoes, accessories, etc. The size range on the clothing will vary, because like most of us I think I've been EVERY size under the rainbow. There should be a little something for everybody. So take a look...you'll be surprised at what you see. I have some great pieces that are looking for new homes.
